About Me

Artist: Marcie Kenny is a blogger, photographer and artist in New Jersey. After a lifetime working with young children as a teacher’s aide and group teacher, she has embraced her artistic side by delving into the things that inspire her the most: creating art and seeking deeper meaning through the illumination of the creative nature of her surroundings. Influenced by the art of Andy Warhol, her works speak to the grounded nature of everyday life as she seeks to illuminate the ordinary through an artistic lens. Most proud of having her loving family around her, Marcie spends her spare time reading, writing, walking and bike riding, and is always in search of her next art project, because that is truly what brings the most joy to her life, every day.
